Brian McFadden video-clip featuring Australian fashion labels Subfusco and George Wu

Sunday the 22nd of May we filmed video-clips 'That's the way life goes' and 'Come party with me' for Brian McFadden and Universal Records.  Audio Threads provided and styled wardrobe using Australian labels George Wu for model/actress Avril Alexander and Subfusco for Brian McFadden.

It was a long day for all especially the director and producers for Film Smith (much credit)...!

Avril looked spectacular in George Wu's 2 tiered ink dresses from the 'Inked 2011' collection INKED COLLECTION (click)
Brian looked suave in a black hooded sleeveless jacket from Subfusco's 'Odyssey fall/2012' ODYSSEY COLLECTION

The filming of the clip was also featured on Australian current affair show Today Tonight, which had the exclusive interview (held on the day) on Brian's split with Delta Goodrem.

Australian fashion + Glastonbury 2010 =

SAINTSAVIOUR, GROOVE ARMADA & H O U S E O F E Z I S!

Australian fashion label H O U S E O F E Z I S had the opportunity to design and produce a catsuit for Groove Armada front-woman Becky Jones aka. Saint Saviour This designer happens to be a known designer and trend setter from Brisbane, Andrzej Pytel.

Andrzej was assigned to the project by another Brisbane local business; band stylist Kimberley Mann of Audio Threads, who has worked with Becky and her manager for the past few months on several fashion projects.
Saint Saviour looked amazing onstage... The costume is a Ziggy Stardust-David Bowie inspired design.. Saint Saviour lights it up like no other, and shines as she does at GLASTONBURY, 2010...

Andys Groove with Australian tee designs

Groove Armadas, Andy Cato, has successfully aligned with Brisbane fashion label,
H O U S E O F E Z I S. To kick start the affiliation, designer Andrzej Pytel has organized with pr and styling firm Audio Threads, to sponsor the artist numerous designer tees for Andy to wear for the past weekend Australian gigs, and for upcoming Groove Armada European festival gigs in the coming months.

The initial story began in Paris, at the beginning of Groove Armada’s album release ‘Black Light’ Europe and US tour, where GA performed a live performance of single ‘I won’t kneel’ to a studio audience for Canal Plus, a online French media publication. Andy wore the the ‘pointer’ tee, black with a white vinyl print in. Link to the performance: http://player.canalplus.fr/#/328448 This design print is quoted as his favourite, with him also opting to wear it for the second of the two Australian tour shows over the weekend at Sydney’s Ivy bar, Sunday 11th of April.

The first show was on Friday the 9th of April at Brisbane nightspot The Met, where Andy chose to wear the ‘center point circle’ tee design; a white tee with a slightly surreal graphic black vinyl print.

Andy has taken 6 designs back with him to the UK. The initial offer was to be 2-3 tees, but as he liked them greatly, he was offered the entire selection! If the shoe fits, wear it.... so indeed he will. Keep an eye out for E Z I S tees across the UK!

Andrzej is also affiliated with Amsterdam’s NO.1 artist Don Diablo and Australia’s NO.1 DJ artist tyDi, whom was recently awarded as ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ 2010 in Miami!

Andy Cato of UK act Groove Armada, looks pretty sweet in his EZIS tee! He is being interviewed with co-founder Tom Findlay on Canal Plus, a French TV and digital media publication, after a live performance of "I won't kneel"... a brilliant song I may say...

Styling MC M.A.D | Groove Armada

Being a stylist to different music artists is probably the best job in the world. The mesh of music and fashion to me is expression in true form, an exposure of our characters and inner essence.

The song 'Superstylin' by Groove Armada, is one of my all time favourites. It's one of those tunes that will be played for years to come, similar to an era of appreciated fashion... So styling MC M.A.D for his performance with Groove Armada at 'the palace', Melbourne in January was a fairly brilliant experience...

Saintsaviour, shares her magic with Australia..

While Groove Armada spent time in Australia on their Big Day Out '10 tour, new front-woman of the group, SaintSaviour, shared with us some of her magic...

I had the opportunity to meet Grace(SS) on the Gold Coast in Queensland after her gig with GA. You know how when you start chatting to someone and instantly feel a humble connection? A chilled feeling, like you could say anything, even something peculiar and she would totally get it? Same wavelength you know? Well this is how our friendship kicked off...

Grace had mentioned the next week, while she was in Sydney, that she would need a stylist for a fashion shoot coming up in Melbourne. Of course I launched at the opportunity and next thing I was flying to Vic to meet up with her, and further onward, our journey with the Spook Mag crew. It took awhile to get to the studio but once there, it was all go! We had just over 2 hours to get some great shots in before it was off to sound-check. So I whipped out my dress selections, Meesha from UK Style waived her MUA wand, photographer Ben Simpson clicked and tested, the Spook crew jazzed about effortlessly(love a good functioning team!), Dan mack'd out on the sofas and Grace kept us laughing with some great stories!

The dresses I decided to use are a designer label named EZIS, designed by Andrzej Pytel. The pixel and vertical stripe patterns through the chest to midriff sections are roll printed microfibre, organza silk across the upper chest with the solid black lower section being a fine woven sheen cotton. Perfect for still and film projects.

The dress moved freely as Grace went about kicking the crap out of the set, ha ha brilliant! Sounds funny but believe me when I say 'there was luggage flying everywhere!'. The concept was based on an artist whom is moving and journeying through their music career, on the pathway and traveling to greater heights... hence the luggage.

Next thing we knew it was 2pm with it looking like not enough time for the second shoot before sound-check. We made it to the Palace in good time, just enough to meet up with photographer Nicole Cleary, but not enough to search for a location as well, let alone the shoot. Luck would have it that the technical crew were running behind, so impromptu it was! The shoot turned out perfect. It took about 10 mins to create what would be one of the best shoots I have ever worked on, and it was perfect!

Great day, great team of people and one beautiful saint. Heaven like.

Below is a prep pic from the Spook mag shoot. Keep an eye here for images from the 2nd shoot or purchase the next issue of BLACK mag for the exclusive.

BLACKSTREET styled by Audio Threads for "This Is It" Michael Jackson Sydney preview

Initial media release - 29.10.09
Updated release - 12.12.09

Musical revolutionary Michael Jackson blessed the world from above with the release of "This Is It"....

And how fortunate for Sydney to have one of Michaels closest friends grace an Australian premier for this momentous occasion...

Teddy Riley & Chauncey Hannibal of Blackstreet chose Sydney to view the film. The reason for choosing Sydney to see the preview is unknown but with the then upcoming Australian 'Kings of New Jack Swing' tour, it was a well viable promotional opportunity.

Jackson and Riley were like family. In 1991 Teddy co-produced "Dangerous" with credits from the success of major hits ‘Remember the Time’, ‘Jam’ and ‘In the Closet’. "Dangerous" went on to sell a formidable amount of copies reaching 26 million and still rising...

Audio Threads were on the mish to source a designer label to style the 'New Jack' kings, and who else better to fit the position than local Sydney label "Vegas Clothing" - http://www.vegas.net.au

Thanks to Vegas Clothing and Audio Threads, Teddy & Chauncey looked (undoubtedly) first-rate stylized on the red carpet!

REST IN PEACE M.J. ...We will celebrate your illustrious existence, life long.

Don Diablo wears Fashion Designer label - EZIS

SIZE of Australia.

Amsterdams NO.1 DJ/Producer ‘Don Diablo’ macks out in Australia’s popular Fashion label ‘SIZE’.

While journeying to Australia for his tour in 2008, Don Diablo of Holland took the time to look around Brisbanes Fortitude Valley shopping precinct and took the likes of Brisbane based Designer wear SIZE by Andrzej Pytel.

Andrzej was present in the shop and when Don Diablo approached the designer and introduced himself, Andrzej took the time to show the DJ which designs he felt would suit the musician.

Don was impressed with Andrzej’s designs and purchased an array of items in particular, a pair of ‘Le Shit’ sublimated tights and a jacket. Don vowed that he would use the designs for his upcoming campaign and next music video clip, in which he did.

In February, 2009 Don Diablo is seen sporting the designs in his clip “Hooligans” and upon release of the clip, gladly sent Andrzej a copy and links to the video, along with a thank you note.

"Hooligans" hit no.1 on the UK charts in early 2009.

Andrzej and Don have become friends as well as creative collaborators and when Don returns to Australia the pair will be re-uniting. Keep an eye out to see which SIZE designs Don will be choosing for his next campaign!!

Don Diablo is the world’s most anticipated DJ for 2009, SONY BMG.
